Name: James Cootes
Age: 38
Location: Te Horo Beach - Kapiti
Occupation: Cafe owner
Porsche history: 1st Porsche 1973 911 2.7S (sold) would love to buy it back one day, 1995 993C2 6 spd (sold), 994S2 (sold), 1991 964 3.3 Turbo (sold), 1996 993 C2 6 spd, LHD US car and current daily driver.
When I buy another Porsche I'd like a: Really not sure about this one... It's a bit like a lollie scramble and wanting them all lol! Got a few "realistic ones in mind".
Dream Porsche: 993 GT2 or RS
Tracks driven: Manfield, Taupo, Pukekohe, Highland Park.
Greatest Porsche moment: The memorable ones was each time the new one arrived. I was going to say the first but all of them have been memorable. Some more than others. Driving the 2.7S down to CHCH from Kapiti to pick up the 993 was a memorable trip. The drive back was a blast.
Downside of owning a Porsche: Stereotyping, Having to drive anything else.
PCNZ member: Was but not now as I got very little out of it other than the "Spiel".

Name: Paul Miller
Age: 37
Location: Mt Eden, Auckland
Occupation: Construction Project Management Consultant
Porsche history: 1st Porsche - my current one, a 1976 911 Carrera 3.0, however my Dad has owned 20 odd Porsches including early 911's, 930T, 928 and 944's, so I've had exposure to any Porsche built in the 70's and 80's.
Dream Porsche: A 73 RS (what else!), 993 RS comfort in riviera blue, or a 1974 Carrera 2.7 in lime green
Next Porsche: something I can put the wife and kids in - manual 993 C2 would be nice.........
Tracks driven: Hamptons, Taupo, Pukekohe, Ruapuna, Highlands, Teratonga and Levels
Greatest Porsche moment: Chasing 3 Ferrari's around the track at NZFS in 2011. I managed to overtake 2! Traveling 260kph along the Hauraki Plains in Dad's 930 when I was 12 was fairly memorable. Driving John M's 964T only irritated that itch. Spinning Macca's 993 at Hamptons and seeing him trying to grab the wheel while spinning won't be forgotten anytime soon either....
Downside of owning a Porsche: The 'I wants' - I want to go faster, own more than one etc.
PCNZ member: Yes - currently a committee member

When I buy another Porsche I'd like a: 964RS
Greatest Porsche moment: Caught the Porsche bug tearing around the streets of Sydney in my dad's friend's Carrera 3.2 years back...

Evening all -- Just joined the group & washed ashore this morning from the US. Hope to meet many of you on the 1st.

Dream Porsche: Must I choose one? Martini 964 or 930, 996GT3
Next Porsche: 997 Turbo, 930 or 356
Tracks driven: None -- plan is to change that soon.
Greatest Porsche moment: Picking up my 944 turbo 30 minutes before a first date with a German girl many years ago!

PCNZ member: Yes - recently joined.

Name: Jake Wratt
Age: 35
Location: Grey Lynn, Auckland
Occupation: IT Business Manager
Ph: +6421663429
Porsche history: My still relatively new (to me) 997.1 Turbo
If/when I buy another Porsche I'd like a: Think I need to settle into this one before considering anything else. 991 GT3 and an older hot rod would definitely be members of my ultimate garage, alongside a 997 GT2RS.
Tracks driven: Hampton Downs
Greatest Porsche moment: Test driving my 997.1 North West of the city, deciding to open it up coming back in on the North Western and realising much too late that the analogue speedo was in miles not KM's, and that the drivers around me weren't driving exceptionally slow that day. Knew I had to own it after that point.
Downside of owning a Porsche: The fact that owning one doesn't feel like it's enough.
PCNZ member: Yes.

Hi all

Some of you i've 'met' through RennList. All of you i'd like to meet in real life. Real Life : Same acronym as commonly given to RennList - given the number of posts on the NZ thread arguably there's no difference :)

Porsche history: 964 - Mr Black, purchase 2014 from fellow RSG member, Jason (sorry mate)
If/when I buy another Porsche I'd like a: GT3
Dream Porsche: 73 RS lightweight (of course)
Tracks driven: (Ridden) Teretonga, Levels, Ruapuna, Hampton Downs, Taupo

Name: Leong Goh
Age: 54
Location: Auckland
Occupation: Dentist
Porsche history: I bought a 997 C2S in 2005, kept it two years as I didn't get enough trackdays to warrant keeping it.  Did far more trackdays on the bike.  Been doing trackdays in the M5 recently and enjoying that - They gave me a Cayman GTS for a weekend - I'd be happy with this, but ordered the GT4 because.... It excites me :)
If/when I buy another Porsche I'd like a: GT4
Tracks driven: Pukekohe (old), Hampton Downs, Taupo, Manfeild, Teretonga, Highlands, Levels, Ruapuna, Phillip Island, Eastern Creek. Mt Cotton, Queensland International Raceway.

Greatest Porsche moment: During the time with my 911, I did the Porsche Driver Training at Mt Cotton Levels 1 and 2, then 2 and 3 on another occasion. During both events I managed to win the Top Gun Trophy and probably the best Porsche memory I have to date would be the nice things Tomas Mezera said about me at the Prizegiving. Also, there was a rather arrogant Lambo driving rich guy there who was also quite competitive. During the Prizegiving said that he'd never swear at Asian drivers again as I collected my trophy. Nice acknowledgement from one like him. The friend I went with recorded the whole thing on video, so that was pretty cool.
